1. Scope
This Privacy Policy sets forth how user information and related data are handled in Connekt 9 (the "Service"). This Policy applies as an integral part of the End User License Agreement (EULA). If any inconsistency exists between the EULA and this Policy, this Policy shall prevail with respect to data handling, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. Information Collected and Purpose of Use
The Service obtains information necessary to provide the Service from Discord and from within the Service. Such information is used for the following purposes: Discord login, account creation, and user identification; profile display and provision of matching features; gameplay data management, candidate display, and improvement of search quality; management of records of consent to the EULA and this Privacy Policy; subscription contract management, payment integration, and cancellation or withdrawal processing; prevention of unauthorized use (including rate limiting, auditing, and failure or fraud detection); content moderation (including detection of inappropriate expressions); service maintenance, incident investigation, and quality improvement; legal compliance, protection of rights, and dispute handling; and integration with external services and third-party provision.
3. External Service Integration
The Service processes data in connection with external services, including Discord. Data processing by such external services is also governed by the terms and policies of each respective provider.
3-1. Principle of Third-Party Provision
Except as otherwise permitted by applicable law, the Operator will not sell or license user information to third parties. In particular, with respect to Discord API data, the Operator will not provide such data to data brokers, advertising networks, or other third parties for monetization purposes.
3-2. Exceptions to Third-Party Provision
In the following cases, information may be disclosed or entrusted for handling within the minimum necessary scope: where disclosure is requested pursuant to applicable law; where necessary to protect life, body, or property and obtaining the data subject's consent is difficult; where provision to contractors necessary for service operations (including infrastructure, monitoring, and payments) is required; or where the user has provided explicit instructions or consent.
4. International Data Transfers
The servers of external services used by the Service may be located outside the United States.
5. Use of Cookies, etc.
The Service uses cookies to maintain authentication status, language settings, timezone synchronization, and flow consistency. If cookies are disabled in browser settings, part or all of the Service may become unavailable.
6. Principles of Retention Period
The Operator retains information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Where required by law or requested by platforms such as Discord, deletion, updating, or restriction may be carried out in accordance with such requirements.
7. Deletion Rules Upon Withdrawal
Upon withdrawal, related data will be deleted sequentially after withdrawal processing is completed.
8. Deletion Delays or Non-Completion
Deletion may take time to be reflected, or withdrawal may be put on hold or may not be completed, due to failures, specification changes, communication failures, or legal retention obligations of external services (such as Discord and Polar).
9. User Rights and Procedures
Users may manage their own information through the following methods.
9-1. Correction and Updates
Users may use profile editing and gameplay data editing functions within the Service.
9-2. Account Deletion (Withdrawal)
Users may apply through the withdrawal pathway within the Service. If a paid plan is in use, completion may take time because processing by an external payment provider is included.
9-3. Other Requests (Access, Deletion, etc.)
Users may contact the inquiry desk. The inquiry desk is posted within the Service. Where identity verification is required, the Operator may request additional information within a reasonable scope to prevent fraudulent requests.
10. Security
The Operator implements reasonable security control measures, including access controls, permission management, and operation of monitoring logs. However, due to the nature of systems involving internet communications and integration with external services, complete security and complete prevention of leakage cannot be guaranteed.
11. Age Requirement
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Where parental consent is required under the laws of the user's place of residence, the user must obtain such consent before using the Service.
12. Important Disclaimer Matters
Because the Service operates in connection with external services (including Discord, Polar, OpenAI, and Sentry), failures, delays, specification changes, or suspension attributable to such external services may affect information acquisition, display, updating, deletion, and withdrawal processing. AI moderation and AI-assisted processing include automated judgments and may involve judgment errors, over-detection, or missed detection. The Operator implements reasonable security control measures but does not guarantee complete confidentiality, integrity, or availability across all paths, including communication routes, external infrastructure, and third-party systems. Where required by law or operational necessity, the Operator may adjust the timing of retention, restriction, disclosure, or deletion of information. Details of disclaimers and limitations of liability are governed by Article 21 and Article 22 of the EULA.
13. Policy Revisions
The Operator may revise this Policy in response to legal changes, service changes, external service requirement changes, or operational necessity. In the event of important changes, notice will be provided through in-app display or other methods reasonably determined by the Operator. Renewed consent may be requested as necessary. The latest version can be reviewed on the Privacy Policy page within the Service.
